Overview
The Corsair Vengeance RGB is a 32GB DDR5 kit of 2 x 16GB modules, rated for 6,000 MT/s at 36-44-44-96 timings and 1.35V. Vengeance RGB has an aluminium heat spreader topped by a light bar with ten individually addressable RGB LEDs per module, controlled from Corsair iCUE, in black or white. It was the best-selling desktop memory kit on Newegg US in October 2026.
It carries an Intel XMP 3.0 profile, so Corsair targets Intel Core Ultra 200S (LGA1851) and 12th to 14th Gen Core (LGA1700) DDR5 boards; most AM5 boards can load XMP profiles too, but Corsair validates this kit for Intel. Without the profile it runs at the default 4,800 MT/s CL40 at 1.10V; one BIOS setting brings it to 6,000 MT/s.
32GB is the standard amount for a 2026 gaming PC: modern games, voice chat and a browser full of tabs run comfortably, and it handles 1080p and 1440p video editing. For local AI on the CPU it runs 7B to 8B models; larger models belong on a GPU or in a 64GB kit.

Questions and answers

Will this kit work with my motherboard?
It fits any DDR5 desktop board. Its XMP 3.0 profile targets Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700; most AM5 boards also load XMP profiles, though the maker validates this kit for Intel. It does not fit DDR4 boards.
How do I get the rated 6,000 MT/s?
Enable the XMP profile in the BIOS. Without it the kit runs at the default 4,800 MT/s CL40 at 1.10V. Rated speeds depend on the CPU's memory controller and the board, so a few systems need a BIOS update first.
Does it have RGB lighting?
Yes. Control it from Corsair iCUE, or from motherboard RGB software that supports Corsair memory.
Is 32GB enough?
32GB is the standard amount for a 2026 gaming PC: modern games, voice chat and a browser full of tabs run comfortably, and it handles 1080p and 1440p video editing. For local AI on the CPU it runs 7B to 8B models; larger models belong on a GPU or in a 64GB kit.
