Overview
The TeamGroup T-Force Vulcan is a 32GB DDR5 kit of 2 x 16GB modules, rated for 6,000 MT/s at 38-38-38-78 timings and 1.25V through its AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. The T-Force Vulcan has a plain black aluminium heat sink with no lighting and stands 32.7 mm tall, low enough for most large air coolers.
It carries both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles, so it suits Ryzen 7000 and 9000 (AM5) and Intel Core Ultra 200S (LGA1851) boards alike. TeamGroup validates it on Intel 700 and 800 series and AMD 600 and 800 series boards. Enable the profile in the BIOS to run it at its rated speed; without it the kit runs at the default JEDEC speed.
32GB is the standard amount for a 2026 gaming PC: modern games, voice chat and a browser full of tabs run comfortably, and it handles 1080p and 1440p video editing. For local AI on the CPU, 32GB runs 7B to 8B models at 4-bit to 8-bit alongside the operating system and apps; larger models belong on a GPU or in a 64GB or bigger kit.

Questions and answers

Will this kit work with my motherboard?
It fits DDR5 desktop boards and has profiles for both platforms: EXPO for AMD AM5 and XMP 3.0 for Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700. It does not fit DDR4 boards.
How do I get the rated 6,000 MT/s?
Enable the EXPO or XMP profile in the BIOS. Rated speeds depend on the CPU's memory controller and the board, so a small number of systems need a BIOS update or a slightly lower speed.
Will it fit under my CPU cooler?
Yes for most coolers. The heat sink is 32.7 mm tall, low enough for large tower coolers that overhang the memory slots.
Is 32GB enough?
32GB is the standard amount for a 2026 gaming PC: modern games, voice chat and a browser full of tabs run comfortably, and it handles 1080p and 1440p video editing. For local AI on the CPU, 32GB runs 7B to 8B models at 4-bit to 8-bit alongside the operating system and apps; larger models belong on a GPU or in a 64GB or bigger kit.
Can I add another kit later?
Memory makers sell kits as matched sets and advise against mixing kits, even identical ones, because the modules are tested together. Buy the total capacity you want as one kit.
