Overview
The MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC 16GB is a triple-fan partner card built on NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, the 1440p high-refresh and entry 4K card of the RTX 50 series, and one of the best-selling 5070 Ti models in 2026. It has 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 on a 256-bit bus at 28 Gbps, for 896 GB/s of bandwidth. MSI runs it at 2,572 MHz boost out of the box and 2,580 MHz in Extreme Performance mode in MSI Center, against NVIDIA's 2,452 MHz reference figure. It targets 1440p at high refresh rates and 4K with DLSS.
It is 338 mm long and 50 mm thick, so check that your case takes a card of that length; MSI includes no slot count, but 50 mm covers about 2.5 slots. Board power is 300W (MSI), MSI recommends a 750W power supply, and it takes 1x 16-pin (12V-2x6). For cooling it uses TRI FROZR 4: three STORMFORCE fans with double ball bearings, ZERO FROZR fan stop, nickel-plated copper baseplate and square-core heat pipes. Other features: dual BIOS (Gaming / Silent), metal backplate with thermal pads, LED lighting behind a frosted cover.
For local AI, 16GB holds 8B models at 8-bit and 12B to 14B models at 4-bit to 6-bit with a useful context window, and 896 GB/s of bandwidth sets how fast tokens come out. A 32B model at 4-bit needs about 20GB and will not fit entirely. CUDA support is broad, so PyTorch, llama.cpp, Ollama, LM Studio and ComfyUI run on it directly.

MSI recommends 750W, which allows for a high-end CPU as well. It uses 1x 16-pin (12V-2x6); use a native 12V-2x6 cable from an ATX 3.1 power supply where you can, and push the plug fully home.
Will the MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC fit my case?
It is 338 mm long and 50 mm thick, so check that your case takes a card of that length; MSI includes no slot count, but 50 mm covers about 2.5 slots.
Is 16GB enough for local AI?
For local AI, 16GB holds 8B models at 8-bit and 12B to 14B models at 4-bit to 6-bit with a useful context window, and 896 GB/s of bandwidth sets how fast tokens come out. A 32B model at 4-bit needs about 20GB and will not fit entirely.
