Overview
The Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is Sapphire's compact, factory-overclocked Pulse RX 9060 XT with 16GB, from the second best-selling GPU line on Amazon US in mid-2026. It has 2,048 stream processors and 16GB of GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus at 20 Gbps, for 320 GB/s of bandwidth. Sapphire runs it at 3,290 MHz boost out of the box, against AMD's 3,130 MHz reference figure. It is aimed at 1080p and 1440p gaming with FSR 4.
At 240 mm long it fits compact cases as well as towers, and it needs only one standard 8-pin cable. Board power is 170W (Sapphire; AMD reference is 160W), Sapphire recommends a 450W power supply, and it takes 1x 8-pin PCIe. For cooling it uses Dual-X: two fans with AeroCurve blades, composite heat pipes and Honeywell PTM7950 phase-change thermal pad. Other features: 9-phase power, metal backplate, FrameDefense frame, fuse protection.
For local AI, 16GB holds 8B models at 8-bit and 12B to 14B models at 4-bit to 6-bit with a useful context window, and 320 GB/s of bandwidth sets how fast tokens come out. A 32B model at 4-bit needs about 20GB and will not fit entirely. AMD supports RDNA 4 in ROCm, and llama.cpp, Ollama and LM Studio run on it through ROCm or Vulkan; tools that only support CUDA will not run on it.

Questions and answers
Still unsure? Visit the help center or message us.
What power supply does the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9060 XT need?
Sapphire recommends 450W, which allows for a high-end CPU as well. It uses 1x 8-pin PCIe, standard cables that most power supplies have.
Will the Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9060 XT fit my case?
At 240 mm long it fits compact cases as well as towers, and it needs only one standard 8-pin cable.
Is 16GB enough for local AI?
For local AI, 16GB holds 8B models at 8-bit and 12B to 14B models at 4-bit to 6-bit with a useful context window, and 320 GB/s of bandwidth sets how fast tokens come out. A 32B model at 4-bit needs about 20GB and will not fit entirely.
Does it work with AI tools that need CUDA?
No. CUDA is NVIDIA-only. AMD supports RDNA 4 in ROCm, and llama.cpp, Ollama and LM Studio run on it through ROCm or Vulkan, so popular local-AI apps work, but tools written only for CUDA do not.
