Overview
The Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16GB is Gigabyte's factory-overclocked triple-fan RX 9060 XT with 16GB, one of the most widely stocked RX 9060 XT cards in the US; the RX 9060 XT was a top-two seller on Amazon US in mid-2026. It has 2,048 stream processors and 16GB of GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus at 20 Gbps, for 320 GB/s of bandwidth. Gigabyte runs it at 3,320 MHz boost out of the box, against AMD's 3,130 MHz reference figure. It is aimed at 1080p and 1440p gaming with FSR 4, and its 16GB leaves room for newer games and local AI.
At 281 mm long and 40 mm thick (two slots) it fits most mid-tower cases, and it needs one standard 8-pin cable. Board power is 160W (AMD reference; Gigabyte publishes no figure), Gigabyte recommends a 450W power supply, and it takes 1x 8-pin PCIe. For cooling it uses WINDFORCE: three Hawk fans spinning in alternate directions, composite copper heat pipes and thermal gel on the memory and power stages. Other features: metal backplate, RGB lighting, power-fault indicator.
For local AI, 16GB holds 8B models at 8-bit and 12B to 14B models at 4-bit to 6-bit with a useful context window, and 320 GB/s of bandwidth sets how fast tokens come out. A 32B model at 4-bit needs about 20GB and will not fit entirely. AMD supports RDNA 4 in ROCm, and llama.cpp, Ollama and LM Studio run on it through ROCm or Vulkan; tools that only support CUDA will not run on it.

Questions and answers
Still unsure? Visit the help center or message us.
What power supply does the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC need?
Gigabyte recommends 450W, which allows for a high-end CPU as well. It uses 1x 8-pin PCIe, standard cables that most power supplies have.
Will the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC fit my case?
At 281 mm long and 40 mm thick (two slots) it fits most mid-tower cases, and it needs one standard 8-pin cable.
Is 16GB enough for local AI?
For local AI, 16GB holds 8B models at 8-bit and 12B to 14B models at 4-bit to 6-bit with a useful context window, and 320 GB/s of bandwidth sets how fast tokens come out. A 32B model at 4-bit needs about 20GB and will not fit entirely.
Does it work with AI tools that need CUDA?
No. CUDA is NVIDIA-only. AMD supports RDNA 4 in ROCm, and llama.cpp, Ollama and LM Studio run on it through ROCm or Vulkan, so popular local-AI apps work, but tools written only for CUDA do not.
