Overview

The Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Windforce OC SFF 12GB is a compact triple-fan card built on NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5070 that meets NVIDIA's SFF-Ready size limits for small cases. It has 6,144 CUDA cores and 12GB of GDDR7 on a 192-bit bus at 28 Gbps, for 672 GB/s of bandwidth. Gigabyte runs it at 2,542 MHz boost out of the box, against NVIDIA's 2,512 MHz reference figure. It is aimed at 1440p gaming with DLSS.

At 282 mm long and 110 mm tall it meets NVIDIA's SFF-Ready guideline, so it suits many small-form-factor cases as well as standard towers. Board power is 250W (NVIDIA reference; Gigabyte publishes no figure), Gigabyte recommends a 750W power supply, and it takes 1x 16-pin (12V-2x6). For cooling it uses WINDFORCE: three Hawk fans spinning in alternate directions with fan stop, a copper plate, composite copper heat pipes and server-grade thermal gel. Other features: NVIDIA SFF-Ready, reinforced metal backplate fixed to the I/O bracket.

For local AI, 12GB holds 8B models at 8-bit and 12B to 14B models at 4-bit, with 672 GB/s keeping token generation quick; a 32B model needs a 24GB or larger card. CUDA support is broad, so PyTorch, llama.cpp, Ollama, LM Studio and ComfyUI run on it directly.
